Bach Nirvana

Johann Sebastian Bach's music has a timeless radiance – at the same time clearly structured and emotionally profound, spiritual and sensual. In Bach Nirvana, it becomes the center of a special concert experience that harmonizes sound, space and light.

The internationally acclaimed pianist Angela Hewitt interprets selected piano works by Johann Sebastian Bach, accompanied by the finely nuanced lighting design of the renowned and versatile video and light artist Mikki Kunttu, which condenses the atmosphere with gentle colour gradients and subtle transitions. The magic of light makes it possible to experience the spheres of music in a new way.

 

Between contemplative depth and true presence, a space of inner contemplation emerges, in which music becomes a meditative experience. A unique dialogue between visuality and sound that makes Bach tangible in a new way – intense, immediate, timeless.
