The Planets was a cooperation concert by Mikki Kunttu and the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, where they take on the seven-part masterpiece The Planets by Gustav Holst (1874–1934).

The Planets is one of the best-known classical compositions of the last century, and for a visual designer it provides a fantastic canvas to paint on.

 

The duration of the concert is about 1 hour 15 minutes. No intermission.
